The Department of Art + Design at Utah State University invites applications for a full-time, nine-month Assistant Professor position to serve as the 2-D Foundations Coordinator and Instructor. The successful candidate will possess a demonstrated record of effective teaching in foundational 2-D courses—specifically 2-D Design and Drawing I—within a university setting. The position requires collaboration with fellow foundation-level instructors to cultivate essential design and drawing competencies among emerging artists. A strong commitment to student mentorship and academic success is also expected.
