You’ll oversee safety operations on a large-scale commercial construction project, drive compliance with OSHA standards, and promote proactive safety leadership across the site.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide general safety oversight across all project operationsConduct and document daily site inspections and safety auditsLead daily Job Safety Analysis (JSA) meetings and weekly Toolbox TalksAttend weekly progress meetings with clients to review safety performanceOversee subcontractor compliance with site safety programsManage Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation safety plansPerform and document incident investigations, including near-miss eventsCHST certification requiredMinimum 5+ years of direct construction safety experienceHeavy civil and excavation experience requiredExperience working with Amazon or similar high-profile clients is a plusDegree in a safety-related field preferredOSHA 510 and/or 500 a plusAdvanced knowledge of OSHA construction safety standardsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteHazTek Safety Management is a full-service, objective safety partner, founded in 1997.
