Job Summary The Staff Accountant role within Robert Halfu2019s FTEP program is designed for accounting professionals looking to gain invaluable industry experience, grow their expertise, and expand their career path. In this role, you will lead fundamental accounting operations and support critical financial functions for a variety of clients, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in alignment with GAAP standards. Key Responsibilities + Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports + Handle general ledger accounts, including reconciliations and journal entries, ensuring all transactions are documented correctly. + Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to help clients plan for future financial performance. + Support month-end and year-end closing procedures and ensure all records are up-to-date and accurate. + Work collaboratively with client finance teams, offering insights on accounting best practices and process improvement opportunities + Assist with audits by managing documentation and ensuring accurate reporting to meet compliance standards. + Review accounts payable and receivable workflows, ensuring timely invoicing, payment processing, and vendor relations + Provide ad hoc reporting and financial analysis as required by client organizations. Requirements Education, Experience, and Skills + Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred). + 1u20135 years of relevant accounting experience; early-to-mid-career professionals are encouraged to apply + Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. + Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and ability to apply them effectively in day-to-day accounting operations. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail. + Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse client teams. + Adaptability to thrive in various industries and work environments.
