Job Title: Production Associate Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Associate. The ideal candidate must have the ability to measure and weigh accurately. Responsibilities + Work flexibly across shipping/receiving and production teams. + Assemble adhesives and package orders for customers. + Cut rolls of fireproof tape to size. + Measure correct milliliter amounts of hardener and inject into glue products. + Repackage glue, caulk, adhesives, and other products. + Use a tape measure and scale accurately. Essential Skills + 1-2 years of shipping/receiving experience. + Proficiency in using wrapping equipment. + Good math skills: simple addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. + Ability to perform decimal calculations. + Experience with UPS or Ship Gear package tracking systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to pick and pack items weighing up to 50 lbs. + No cell phone use during work hours. + Strong attendance and punctuality. + Experience in warehouse operations and general production. Work Environment The work environment is a manufacturing and distribution setting, with business hours Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm, and Friday from 9am to 4pm. Lunch break is from 12:15pm to 1pm. Our company specializes in high-temperature materials and adhesives for electrical, structural, and industrial applications. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
