Company: GE Vernova Schedule: Monday u2013 Friday, 8am u2013 5pm EST Location: 1 River Road, Schenectady, NY 12302 u2013 ONSITE Position: Primavera P6 Scheduler Pay: $40-$45/hr Job Summary: This position will be for a highly organized and results-driven Primavera P6 Scheduler who will support the scheduling and planning efforts for wind energy projects across the North America Portfolio. The Scheduler will work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely schedule updates, performance tracking, and reporting. This role is responsible for maintaining and optimizing project schedules for wind energy projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, milestones, and contractual obligations. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of project scheduling to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables across complex projects while driving continuous improvement in execution. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: u2022 Schedule Management: Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6. Ensure schedules reflect the latest scope, progress, and resource allocation for multiple wind projects. Identify and analyze critical path activities to mitigate risks and avoid schedule delays. Maintain logic integrity and consistency across all project schedules. u2022 Progress Tracking & Reporting: Track project progress, resource utilization, and schedule deviations. Provide weekly and monthly schedule updates and variance reports. Prepare schedule performance metrics (SPI, float analysis, earned value tracking, etc.). Generate dashboards and reports for senior management and project teams. u2022 Risk Analysis & Mitigation: Track project progress, resource utilization, and schedule deviations. Provide weekly and monthly schedule updates and variance reports. Prepare schedule performance metrics (SPI, float analysis, earned value tracking, etc.). Generate dashboards and reports for senior management and project teams. u2022 Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to gather schedule updates. Facilitate weekly/monthly schedule review meetings with project stakeholders. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure delivery schedules align with project needs. u2022 Primavera P6 Optimization & Best Practices: Maintain and improve scheduling templates, coding structures, and reporting standards. Implement best practices for work breakdown structure (WBS), activity coding, and resource leveling. Ensure scheduling procedures comply with company and industry standards. u2022 Deliverables: Baseline schedules for each wind project. Weekly/monthly schedule updates with progress tracking. Critical path analysis and risk assessment reports. Look-ahead schedules (2-week, 4-week, and 90-day schedules). Performance reports (earned value, schedule variance, and recovery plans). Change impact assessments for scope changes and schedule revisions. Required Qualifications & Experience: u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree (preferably in Project Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management) u2013 OR u2013 2 years of relevant experience in project scheduling and planning, specifically in large scale energy projects or similar infrastructure projects u2022 Proven experience with Primavera P6, including scheduling, resource allocation, and cost management u2022 Able to connect and communicate across all levels of internal colleagues/stakeholders. u2022 Advanced Proficiency in all MS Office programs; Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint u2022 Fluent and proficient in both spoken and written English Desired Characteristics: u2022 Expert knowledge of Primavera P6 and Project controls (including resource and cost loading, logic development, baseline management) u2022 Capability to learn new software quickly and integrate knowledge into solutions u2022 Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to handle high pressure, time sensitive issues u2022 Exceptional planning, organizing and follow-up skills u2022 Experience managing multiple deadlines and daily tasks effectively to meet deliverables u2022 Experience working in a fast paced, high-pressure environment u2022 Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, both proactive and reactive u2022 A self-starter with the passion for improvement and desire to learn As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
