Description: You will be the Proposal and Affordability Lead for the Global Supply Chain (GSC) team. You will be responsible for driving proposal efforts and affordability initiatives for the Advanced Threat Warning Sensors (ATWS) program, ensuring timely and compliant proposal submissions that meet government regulations and program commitments. What You Will Be Doing As the GSC Proposal and Affordability Subcontract Manager you will be responsible for leading GSC proposal efforts, developing supplier RFP templates, and coordinating cost analysis and negotiation strategies. You will also drive affordability initiatives, managing the affordability pipeline, and creating step-down plans to meet program targets. Your responsibilities will include: u2022 Organizing and overseeing GSC proposal activities, including timely submissions and compliance with regulations u2022 Developing supplier RFP templates and leading central procurement proposal kickoff meetings u2022 Coordinating cost analysis and negotiation strategies, including historical cost data analysis and trend modeling u2022 Managing affordability pipeline, ensuring initiatives move through execution into savings realization u2022 Creating step-down plans to meet program affordability targets and negotiated positions. u2022 Collaborating with internal and external customers, including Sr. Management and customer representatives u2022 This role requires at least 2 days per week onsite in the Orlando, FL office Why Join Us You thrive in a collaborative, fastu2011paced environment where your analytical expertise directly influences missionu2011critical outcomes. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university u2022 Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS, with experience applying these regulations in a a procurement or acquisition environment. u2022 SAP Experience u2022 Working knowledge of standard contract types u2022 Team oriented with demonstrated organizational skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills Desired Skills: u2022 Proposal experience u2022 Affordability experience u2022 Risk Management Experience u2022 Experience with coaching/mentoring u2022 Cost Analysis training u2022 Lean Six Sigma Trained/Certified Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
