Description: You will be the Manufacturing Engineer for the Ocala Operations team. Our team is responsible for delivering highu2011mix, highu2011volume circuit card, wiring harness, and electrou2011assembly production across multiu2011shift facilities. What You Will Be Doing As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for driving process stability, improving productivity, and ensuring product quality in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: + Design, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for circuit card and wiring harness production. + Lead rootu2011cause investigations and develop corrective actions to reduce defects and rework. + Collaborate with operations and quality teams to achieve onu2011time delivery and compliance with specifications. + Evaluate equipment performance and recommend upgrades or automation enhancements where appropriate. + Document and standardize work instructions, process parameters, and bestu2011practice guidelines. ( MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN -This position is located at a facility that requiresspecial access. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college - Or, no experience required with a Masteru2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college. Desired Skills: - CCA manufacturing experience in accordance with specification IPC-A-610 - Cable and Harness manufacturing experience in accordance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 - Ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings. - Ability to work with supply base. - Detail oriented personality - Excellent process development and documentation skills. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
