Job Description

Audits job descriptions for content and calibration within organizationcompensation structure. Participates in compensation surveys to collectand analyze competitive salary information to determine company'scompetitive position. Reviews proposed salary adjustments forconformance to established guidelines, policies and practices.Recommends corrective or alternative actions to resolvecompensation-related challenges. Provides professional consultation andguidance to client base regarding a variety of compensation-relatedissues and partners with HR Business Partners. Partners with departmentsto update job descriptions for existing and new positions within theorganization and creates job codes for new positions. Analyzes salarysurveys and obtains comprehensive market data to market price thepositions and compare internally to company positions. Makerecommendations and present results to departments? pletes annual salary surveys by matching company?s positions tosurvey positions. Reviews and recommends salaries for both internal andexternal candidates, considering internal equity and market. Responsiblefor generating accurate and timely reports as requested. Escalatesissues to supervisor/manager for resolution, as deemed necessary. Assistwith various projects as assigned by direct supervisor. Perform allother duties and projects that may be assigned Bachelor?s degree from anaccredited institution. Two (2) years of experience as a compensationanalyst in a large HR department. Demonstrated knowledge of compensationsystems. Skilled in utilizing advanced Excel functions including pivottables, v-lookups and other advanced queries for data analysis.Experience developing financial modeling and analysis for managementrecommendations. Advanced knowledge of PC applications and MicrosoftOffice applications required. Strong ability to work independently andmanage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellentconsulting, influence and communication skills. End-to-end processthinking. Strong attention to detail required. Ability to multi-taskrequired. Advanced analytical skills. Five (5) or more years ofexperience as a compensation analyst in a large HR department. CCP orsimilar certification. SHRM Certification (SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP), PHR,SPHR.
