Shift: Monday-Thursday 6am – 4:30pm Overtime as needed (typically on Friday’s) Securing fabric cover to a furniture frame. The frame will be either a back, seat or arm which has already been covered with foam. General Work Steps: + Upholsterer lifts frame from skid to work table. + Wraps thin layer of plastic around frame. + Uses vacuum to tighten the foamed frame. + Pulls a fabric cover over the frame. The cover has been cut and sewn to fit the specific frame. Cover has been sewn closed on three sides, leaving an opening. + Closes the opening by stapling. + Upholsterer lifts covered frame to a skid. Type of frames, weight, and bulk – required lifting 25-50lbs Standing, pivot, bending, twisting – hand eye coodination Attention to detail, quality control Use of power tools, staple gun, vacuum, hot glue gun, aerosol sprays as needed **Pay Details:** $18.00 to $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
