Credit Analyst

Description We are looking for an experienced Credit Analyst to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will play a key part in evaluating creditworthiness, managing accounts receivable, and providing detailed financial reporting. Responsibilities: u2022 Assess the creditworthiness of new accounts by analyzing financial data and documentation. u2022 Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances. u2022 Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to support credit decisions. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to review and process credit applications efficiently. u2022 Conduct thorough evaluations of commercial credit and collections to mitigate risks. u2022 Identify and address discrepancies within accounts or payment cycles. u2022 Support the implementation of effective credit policies and procedures. u2022 Provide recommendations to improve credit and collection strategies. u2022 Maintain up-to-date records of credit and collection activities. u2022 Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in credit analysis and decision-making processes. u2022 Expertise in managing commercial credit and collections. u2022 Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data. u2022 Familiarity with credit applications and related documentation. u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. u2022 Proficiency in financial reporting tools and software. u2022 Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
