HVAC Technician I

Overview Job Summary Details: The HVAC Technician I performs maintenance, repairs and installation of assigned HVAC and Refrigeration equipment and controls, chilled water systems, boilers, and various other mechanical, electrical and building systems in accordance with client expectations and requests. For information about ABMu2019s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits Front Line Team Members ( (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) Basic Qualifications: u2022 Must be 18 years of age or older u2022 High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required u2022 Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license Preferred Qualifications: u2022 Three (3) years of HVAC experience is preferred u2022 Possession of refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification is preferred Responsibilities: u2022 Troubleshoot, calibrate and adjust pilots, thermostats and burners, transformers, controls, relays, heaters, elements, switches and controls on electrical systems u2022 Use common tools of the HVAC trade in daily work (e.g multimeter, refrigerant gauges, charging charts, hand tools etc.) u2022 Install, maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment u2022 Identify maintenance risks on equipment u2022 Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems u2022 Clean, adjust and repair systems, and performs warranty services u2022 Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently u2022 Provide technical direction and on-the-job training u2022 Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions u2022 Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act u2022 Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements u2022 Assist with customer queries inquiries u2022 Complete other duties as assigned u2022 Entry-level HVAC technicians encouraged to apply Entry-level HVAC technicians encouraged to apply .
