To this end, Honda strives to realize “the joy and freedom of mobility” by developing new technologies and an innovative approach to achieve a “zero environmental footprint.”We are looking for qualified individuals with diverse backgrounds, experiences, continuous improvement values, and a strong work ethic to join our team.If your goals and values align with Honda’s, we want you to join our team to Bring the Future!About this Position:Lead, create, and implement innovative technical activities and solutions in Mass Production, Business Plan, and New Model areas to efficiently meet or exceed Safety, Environment, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale (SEQDCM) targets.Responsibilities include:Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization to ensure shared understanding and alignment of quality objectivesReview and analyze daily reports to identify quality issues and system gaps, developing countermeasures and conducting root cause analyses for continuous improvementUtilize data analysis and PDCA to lead and support cross-departmental problem solving for complex manufacturing challengesMonitor and manage product and process performance to optimize quality and reduce operational costsDevelop capabilities of self and colleagues through mentoring, training, and knowledge sharingEstablish priorities and make data-driven decisions to effectively accomplish business objectivesManage project implementation, schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion and target achievementEvaluate and implement new technologies to enhance quality systems and operational effectivenessManage scrap trends, CSI, and NCPD activities to meet quality flow and scrap reduction targetsWho we are seeking:Required Education:Bachelor’sdegree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, etc.)Required Experience:2 or more years of experience depending on education levelStrong communication, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills; demonstrated leadership and project management experience; ability to multi-task and implement data-driven countermeasures effectivelyDecision ExpectedDetermine and execute daily countermeasures for product quality concernsDevelop strategies to meet daily and long-term quality targets aligned with company initiativesEvaluate and justify business planning needs, resource allocations, and schedule adjustments to improve product qualityAdditional Position Factors:Work occurs in both office (50%) and manufacturing environments (50%) requiring appropriate PPE and lockout procedures. Involves hands-on troubleshooting, tool and equipment use, and interaction with automation and gauging systems. May include exposure to hydraulic oils, lubricants, and metal materials.Typical overtime ranges from 5-15 hours per week, with possible weekend or off-shift support as needed.
