If at the end of that period you have not been offered or have not accepted another position within BD, your employment will conclude at that time.Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Field Action Remediation Deployment Specialist to implement remote software and firmware deployments, configure devices in RSS, and perform other remediation activities. Additionally, this role will be responsible for leading the team working at night, which includes mentoring other deployment specialists, answering questions, and supporting customer issues that arise. This role requires deep technical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and meticulous documentation practices in an FDA-regulated environment.Key ResponsabilitiesLead and mentor a team of internal and contract Remediation Deployment SpecialistsAssist with training of new associatesFoster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaborationComplete field action remediation through remote software/firmware deploymentConfigure devices in RSS and perform other remote remediation activitiesMaintain accurate records and complete service documentation for all ticketsCollaborate with advanced support specialists as neededBuild effective working relationships across functions and locationsDeliver high-quality work while adhering to strict quality standardsCommunicate effectively with customers, building rapport and addressing their needsMaintain reporting tools and metric tracking systems with current dataDevelop and update process documentationIdentify workflow improvements and eliminate non-value-added tasksAssist in developing processes and procedures to support department strategiesHelp draft knowledge articles and job aidsProfessional AttributesAbility to lead with integrity and motivate a team to deliver results that matterSelf-awareness and emotional intelligence in workplace interactionsAdaptability in diverse environmentsSelf-starter with curiosity and initiativeProblem solver comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced environmentCommitment to broadening skills and supporting organizational capabilitiesAbility to follow procedures in an FDA-regulated environmentRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent experience3-5 years of proven applied experienceComputer Science, Technology, Healthcare-related education or equivalent work experienceProficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)Deep technical orientation with experience deploying proprietary and standard applicationsExperience with Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and domain securityAnalytical skills for logical troubleshooting of technical problemsAbility to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectivelyProblem solver comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced environmentDiligent with thorough follow-up capabilitiesGoal and action-oriented mentalityComfortable working remotely between 10pm and 6am local time.
