Safety is a core value that permeates how we live, train, work, and look out for our teammates.Summary of Job: Collect information, record data and estimate the cost for all Large Construction sheet metal projects on which the company places bids. Process includes completing plan analysis, developing materials list, bid take off, bidding and interface with sales department.Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years of experience with sheet metal/mechanical estimationIn-depth knowledge of construction as well as sheet metal/mechanical systems - Field experience is preferredA working familiarity and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and ability to be trained in use of the Company-specific applications and softwareAuto bid Sheet Metal (formerly QuickPen) experience a plusSkills and Abilities:Good written and verbal communication skillsGood problem solving ability and analytical skillsAdept in mathematicsAbility to manage the high stress of tight deadlines and the responsibility of accurately forecasting the budget for a projectAbility to work independently and as an effective member of a teamAbility to perform multiple tasks simultaneouslyCompany Perks & BenefitsOur mission at Lee Company is to create a workplace where our employees can thrive, and we back that up with action.
