As a Behavior Technician, you’ll be part of a supportive environment where you’ll receive thorough training and the tools needed to make a meaningful impact. Position Summary: We are looking for compassionate, driven individuals to become Behavior Technicians. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement personalized behavior intervention plans and support clients in learning important life skills. These services will be delivered across a variety of settings, such as home, school, and community environments. Behavior Technicians are integral in delivering proven interventions, tracking progress, and helping clients reach their full potential. Responsibilities: • Implement customized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by the BCBA to meet client needs. • Work one-on-one with clients using ABA methods, such as discrete trial training (DTT), naturalistic teaching, and behavior management techniques. • Record and document client behavior and progress with the tools and systems provided. • Support clients in building skills related to communication, social interaction, self-care, and daily living. • Create an encouraging and positive learning environment, promoting client engagement and autonomy. • Collaborate with the BCBA and other professionals to monitor progress and ensure consistency in implementing plans across settings. • Maintain clear communication with families, caregivers, and team members, providing updates and sharing important information. • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with ABA practices and techniques. Qualifications: • Ability to follow detailed instructions, implement intervention plans accurately, and document data consistently. • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to clients’ homes, schools, and community settings. • Commitment to confidentiality, ethical guidelines, and fostering an inclusive and positive environment. • Patience, empathy, and dedication to helping individuals with developmental disabilities succeed.
