Give us a callat 937-965-0765 and/or apply directly to this posting for immediate consideration!Fleet MechanicJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic.The ideal candidate performs inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on thecompany's vehicles and equipmentto ensure they are safe and operational.Fleet Mechanic Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnosis and Repair:Identify and fix problems in various systems, includingmechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of vehicles andequipment.Preventive Maintenance:Perform routine services such as oil changes, tirerotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks and flushes.Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair workperformed, including parts used.Parts Management:Assist with ordering parts, managing inventory, andensuring necessary materials are in stock.Technical Skills:Utilize electronic diagnostic equipment, interpret servicemanuals, and may involve fabricating parts or performing munication:Inform the fleet manager or supervisor about the condition ofthe fleet and the need for repairs.Field Support:Respond to road calls to perform emergency repairs and ensurethe continued operation of the fleet.Fleet Mechanic Essential Skills & QualitiesMechanical Aptitude:Strong ability to understand and repair various vehiclesystems, especially Chrysler/Dodge products. Conduct repairs on engines,transmissions, suspensions, and alignments.Diagnostic Skills:Proficiency with electronic diagnostic tools and the ability totroubleshoot complex issues.Attention to Detail:Crucial for accurate diagnosis, precise repairs, and thoroughrecord-keeping.Safety Awareness:Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaininga safe work environment.Physical Stamina:Capable of performing heavy manual labor, including liftingand working in various conditions.Other DutiesInterpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot vehicle problemsProvide excellent customer service by communicating clearly about a vehicle'sneedsMaintain a clean and organized workspaceCollaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-qualityserviceUtilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairsKnowledge of welding techniques for auto body repair is a plusJob involves us of a hydraulic lift and crane hoistBenefits:We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits pensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $26.00 - $26.00 Per Hour
