Join the team at Onward Appraisals as a Part-time Appraisal Support Specialist (10-15 hours per week) -where attention to detail and consistency make all the difference.As a vital part of our team, you'll support our certified appraiser by managing data, researching land and property information, and helping prepare high-quality, accurate appraisal reports. If you're someone who thrives on structure, enjoys working with digital tools, and takes pride in doing the little things right-you may be the perfect fit.What You'll DoAs an Appraisal Support Specialist, you'll handle important tasks behind the scenes that keep the appraisal process running smoothly. Key responsibilities include:Scanning and archiving historical sales documents to support research and trend analysis.Gathering agricultural sales leads from online sources and newspapers; saving and organizing them in PDF format.Conducting monthly deed searches using county property record systems (NDRIN/iDoc Market), annotating documents, and entering sale piling property tax information from county websites and treasurers' offices.Creating maps for reports using digital mapping tools and assembling consistent, polished report exhibits.Proofreading appraisal reports for accuracy, formatting, and clarity.Managing communication with FSA offices to request supporting documentation.Contributing to administrative projects and process improvements as needed.What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Strong organizational and time management skills.High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.Familiarity with PDF software (e.g., PDF XChange Editor) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Comfortable navigating online databases and county records systems.Excellent written communication and proofreading abilities.Self-motivated and able to manage recurring tasks independently.Willingness to learn industry-specific tools, including appraisal databases and digital mapping software.Availability to work 10 - 15 hours per week between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday.Why Onward Appraisals?At Onward Appraisals, we provide agricultural appraisal services grounded in integrity, clarity, and trust - empowering our clients to move forward with confidence.
