95.3 NEWS REPORTER/ANCHOR - AFTERNOON SHOW PRODUCERWTRC-FM / NEWSTALK 95.3 MICHIANA’S NEWS CHANNEL is looking for a News reporter/anchor & Afternoon Show Producer. If you knock it out of the park, you could grow with an award-winning News/Talk Station!ResponsibilitiesLive on-air newscasts in a variety of shifts, but primarily weekday PM DriveResearch, write, and record newscasts and articles for on-air broadcast and publication onlineRecord and edit audio for news consumption via phone, internet, and other sourcesMaintain MNC social media accounts as needed, including posting and sharing of articles, interview podcasts, etc.Monitor web and MNC email for stories that need covering, including social media, competitor websites, and other sourcesBook Guests and operate a Successful afternoon show and work with the host to take the show from good to great!Assist afternoon show host with editing for podcast and social media postsQualificationsAdobe Audition, Wave Pad, Microsoft Word, WordPress, photography, and audio editing (not required but a plus)Must Have a Team team-first attitude with Willingness and ability to learn quickly and be flexible in assignmentsThe perfect candidate will also have the opportunity for on-air work at 95.3 MNC’s sister stations.Valid Driver’s licenseOperates by the Core Values of Integrity, Passion, and InnovationBenefitsFlexible and Family oriented cultureHealthcare (Health, Dental, Vision) and 401kGet paid to volunteer your time in the communityA culture that’s driven by purpose.
