SOFTWARE PRODUCT ENGINEER - JAVA DEVELOPER*** ​***As a Software Engineer - Java Developer, you are working on our best-in-class banking platforms. Our products are used by thousands of banks and credit unions throughout the US. We’re looking for an exceptional engineer that is a technical fit, someone that takes pride in their work and is constantly working to hone their skills. The right candidate will have the opportunity to work with a very talented team and help drive to development best practices and craftsmanship.Contribute to development of key product featuresSuccessfully interact and communicate with other functional roles and development leadsAssist in optimizing our code base within your team and across peer development teamsUnderstand and participate in engineering processes for your teamProvide production support as the need arisesUsing CoPilot and AI tools to enhance productivity, quality, and code maintainabilityBachelors Degree in computer science or equivalentMinimum of 3 years of experience in professional software developmentExperience with Java, REST APIs, XML, SQLExperience with work tracking systems such as Jira or Azure DevOps, Git, and experience using cloud services, either from Azure or AWSUnit TestingAgile best practicesAdded Bonuses…Fintech or commercial bankingDevOps (builds, CI/CD, branch management)Experience working with geographically distributed teamsSecurity coding best practicesORM experienceAspect oriented programmingFamiliarity with the PDF spec and possibly tools to manipulate PDF’s, like iTextExperience with, or willingness to learn, C# Wolters Kluwer is a global leader in professional information services.
