ACET, Inc.’s technical, programmatic, and analytical professionals are experts in commercial technology, customized solutions, and proprietary government systems.Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Airframes Mechanic III -Team Lead specializing in F-35 and F/A-18aircraft maintenance and corrosion control for Navy/Marine Corps aviation located at Cherry Point, NC and Beaufort, SC.This role is essential to supporting the Intermediate Level (I-Level) and Organizational Level (O-Level) corrosion control related to scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, to include the following: special inspections, corrosion treatment, corrosion prevention, topcoat maintenance/low observable restoration, and environmental seal restoration maintenance.The Team Lead shall be responsible for all contractor activities related to the overall supervision of the contract performance associated with maintenance efforts.Serve as the individual receiving priorities from the Government and tasking the team to complete the priorities. Team Lead is also responsible for communicating any feedback or requirements back to the AMO/COR and for the overall completion of work.Possess knowledge of the learning process and how to transfer technical knowledge to less qualified personnel, including the ability to express thought in both oral and written communications.Aviation Structural Mechanic CorePosition Responsibilities:Performs routine aircraft maintenance pletes and Maintains aircraft forms and records.Demonstrates an operational knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, engines and component partsOperates aircraft towing equipment in towing operationsMaintains aircraft hydraulic systemsMust have knowledge of the proper use of hand tools in aircraft maintenanceMust be able to read and write, and interpret and comply with aircraft maintenance procedures, manuals, specifications, and directives, guides and forms used on the jobCorrosion Prevention and treatmentAircraft Paint and LO trainingPerforms preventive maintenance inspections on aircraft and aircraft systems and subsystemsPerforms troubleshooting, repair, modifications, corrosion control and preservation of aircraft and aircraft systems and aircraft sub-systems.Services ground support equipment. Performs preventive maintenance inspections on all ground support equipmentUses blueprints, schematics, technical drawings and manufacturers’ drawings and sketches in the performance of assigned dutiesCompletes maintenance documentation accurately using OOMA, ALISandrequiredforms,asrequiredbyjobassignmentMustshowproficiencyintheuseofOOMAand ALISwithin90days after assignmentQualificationsRequired:Minimum 6 years’ experience in Military aircraft maintenance is required.
