Flower Processor / Floral Assistant / Delivery Driver

Centerville Florists is seeking a part-time Floral Processor / Florist Assistant / Delivery Driver to support our team of designers in preparing, processing, and delivering beautiful floral arrangements.This is a part-time position that requires availability on Mondays and Tuesdays, as well as flexibility to assist during our busiest times — especially major floral holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Sweetest Day, and local proms and homecomings.Key ResponsibilitiesClean, sanitize, and prepare buckets for incoming floral shipmentsReceive, hydrate, and process fresh-cut flowersPull, prep, and organize materials for daily floral design workMaintain a clean, organized workspace, cooler, and storage areaGrid and prepare vases and specialty containers for designers (“green up”)Assist designers with prep and setup during peak periodsPerform deliveries when needed and return items neatly post-deliveryLift and carry up to 30 lbs as neededRemain punctual, dependable, and professional at all timesAdapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing work environmentRespond to last-minute or high-priority orders efficientlyHold a valid driver’s license and reside in the Dayton or surrounding areaRequirementsMust be available to work Mondays, Tuesdays, and during major floral holidaysStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to stand for extended periods and perform physical workPositive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learnDependable and customer-service mindedBenefitsFull-Time employees eligible for:Medical, Dental, Vision, Supplemental Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Employee Assistance Program, IRA with company match, Life Insurance.
