This role can proactively identify technical requirements to better plan for the future. Their work is done with an emphasis on quality and durability. The Sr. Quantitative Analyst is seen as a go-to resource for a substantial variety of technical tools. The members of the Data Analytics team set each other up for success. This position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities including:Creating operating efficiencies: Seek out opportunities within the business to improve processesVisualizing data: Illustrate events and trends using graphs and other visualizationsQuantitative analysis: Bring structure to challenging datasets to provide clear conclusionsPredictive modeling: Leverage machine learning to capture insight invisible to the human eyeAutomation through code: Program away tedious, repetitive tasks to make the most of the dayWorking with other teams: Meet with other departments to engage in cross-departmental projectsPresenting findings to company leadership: Communicate the conclusions of analysis to guide strategic decisionsSkills/ExperienceStrong proficiency with R, Python, SQL and more toolsAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiencesCross-functional collaborationProficiency in MS ExcelAbility to convert data to actionable insightsEvaluation of technical requirements given a conceptComfort working with and organizing large data setsAbility to plan, lead and execute substantial projects at a high and low levelEducationBachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or related degreePreferably has programming experienceTravel RequirementsA low-level of domestic U.S. travel (approximately 5% - 10% of time) is requiredThe Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.We do not accept any unsolicited resumes from external recruiting firms.The company offers a competitive compensation plan and robust benefits package for full time regular employees.Base salary & Benefits include Health, dental, vision, life, disability, wellness, paid time off, 401(k) and profit-sharing plans.The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.• Low-level of domestic U.S. travel is required (up to 5% - 10% of time)Sponsorship not Offered for this Role
