Location: Piedmont Newnan HospitalShift: DaysStatus: PRN (Must be able to work 6 shift per month)Department: CV Outpatient ImagingRESPONSIBLE FOR:Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Must have two years of experience as a Nuclear Med Tech.MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Either CNMT or NMTCB registered.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: BLS Certified Possesses a thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process Nuclear Medicine examinations.#LI-POST#GDIND456Piedmont Newnan Hospital
