Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience. • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Local & travel allowed. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: Proficiency in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing, with the ability to interpret dysrhythmias and provide appropriate interventions. Experience in oncology-specific procedures such as chemotherapy administration and brachytherapy. Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Medications, Respiratory, Tracheostomy care/management. Preferred Skills/Experience: Chemotherapy Administration, Monitoring Chemotherapy, PCA, Administer Chemo, drain management. Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Shift & Scheduling: 13 - 16 weeks. Days/Nights rotation option available. If you accept a Days/Nights rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department’s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time. Number of weekend: variable based on unit needs. Floating Requirements: To other MedSurg Oncology units. Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined. 14 days maximum time off.
