DescriptionThe Marketing Specialist, SORD (Store Openings, Remodels and Du00e9cor), will be responsible for specific marketing responsibilities for store openings and remodels in addition to supporting existing stores with execution of Global Marketing deliverables. New store openings will be the priority for this team as they remain a critical component of the Amazon Worldwide Grocery business and marketing plans to drive incremental growth and customer acquisition. This role will also work closely with the Senior Specialist, global support teams and store teams to ensure consistent execution of Marketing retail programs that increase transactions, build basket size, and contribute to an in-store experience that inspires and builds brand loyalty. The Specialist will partner with the broader Marketing team, working across regions to drive alignment and consistency in the shopper experience in all stores. Key job responsibilities u2022 Oversees tactical plans for new store openings and remodels. u2022 Performs as a subject matter expert for new store openings, working with the Global Marketing team to test, learn and build. u2022 Takes a store-wide view in their thinking, understanding the customer shopping journey and how to grow their total basket. u2022 Maintains ongoing partnership with Store Development and Du00e9cor teams to ensure the latest messaging and marketing is shared between teams. u2022 Ensures existing stores execute Marketing retail programs and engages with store-level team members to understand needs. u2022 Engages with store team members, and as required, regional stakeholders to ensure effective implementation. Skills: u2022 Strong aptitude for creative and strategic problem-solving and concise communication. u2022 Self-starter with ability to ideate independently and collaborate effectively. u2022 Collaborator with passion for working in fast-paced environment. u2022 Retail experience including signage, production, du00e9cor, fixtures, construction, promotional strategy, sales growth planning, loyalty programs and general operations. u2022 Experience with seasonal planning, retail program development, vendor relations, budget management, events, and mission-driven brands. u2022 Strong retail and graphic design sensibilities including du00e9cor, retail and exterior signage, outdoor and print advertising, and digital channel application. u2022 Understanding of consumer insight analytics and related marketing, retail, and customer engagement metrics. u2022 Builds and nurtures relationships with peers, stakeholders, and leaders. u2022 Advanced ability to plan, estimate, organize, and monitor program activity and problem-solve. u2022 Demonstrates strong knowledge of the Amazon Grocery product mix, supply base, and retail operations. Basic Qualifications- 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience - 1+ years of Salesforce, Tableau, Vidyard, and Excel experience - 1+ years of designing, building, and launching successful email engagement programs, specifically lifecycle/nurture programs experience - Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)Preferred Qualifications- Experience working with a major brand or entertainment company in project/production management - Experience in e-commerce, start ups, advertising, commercial - Experience using data visualization tools Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $53,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $113,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
