Description A reputable and distinguished real estate firm is seeking a Transactional Real Estate Associate to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented and committed professional with 4+ years of experience managing complex transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing. Responsibilities: u2022 Draft, negotiate, and review legal documents for commercial real estate transactions, such as purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing contracts, and joint venture agreements. u2022 Oversee due diligence processes, including reviewing title, surveys, and zoning compliance, to identify and mitigate potential risks. u2022 Coordinate and lead transaction closings, ensuring smooth execution by collaborating with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams. u2022 Advise clients on strategies for real estate development, acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing activities. u2022 Structure deals effectively and manage complex negotiations to achieve client objectives. u2022 Provide guidance on compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to real estate projects. u2022 Collaborate closely with partners and clients to deliver tailored solutions for sophisticated real estate matters. u2022 Stay informed about industry trends and local market dynamics to offer strategic advice. u2022 Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently, ensuring high-quality results. Requirements u2022 Active membership in the California State Bar is required. u2022 4+ years of experience in transactional real estate, preferably within a law firm environment. u2022 Strong expertise in commercial real estate law, including leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and joint ventures. u2022 Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. u2022 Ability to work independently on complex transactions while effectively collaborating with a team. u2022 Outstanding organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. u2022 Familiarity with land use or zoning laws in California is a plus. u2022 Experience working with technology companies or clients in real estate technology is desirable.
