Client Service Representative VCA Noah's Ark Animal Hospital in beautiful Goleta, CA is seeking a full-time Client Service Representative to join our team We are dedicated to delivering high quality patient care to companion and exotic pets in Santa Barbara County. We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to help complete our team Our Client Service Representatives provide high-quality and exceptional customer service at all times. As the face of VCA, the Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customeru2019s trust and confidence in our abilities. BENEFITS: We offer competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including, medical/dental/vision and paid vacation (for F/T employees only), 401(k), generous personal pet care discounts and more This position pays $18.00 - $21.00 , dependent on experience, education, certification ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: u2022 1 year of Customer Service experience preferred u2022 Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment u2022 Scheduling and confirming appointments u2022 Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions u2022 Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control) u2022 Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients u2022 Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments u2022 Answering questions regarding our services u2022 Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence QUALIFICATIONS: u2022 At least one year of proven past experience helping customers u2022 High School Diploma/GED or equivalent u2022 Excellent listening and communication skills u2022 Compassion for pets and people u2022 The ability to integrate new information into problem-solving At VCA we are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and want to be a place where a diverse mix of talented people want to come, stay and do their best work.
