Engineering Project Manager III

Description We are looking for an experienced Engineering Project Manager III to join our team in Skaneateles, New York. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to lead cross-functional teams in the development of innovative solutions within the medical device industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering project management, regulatory compliance, and collaborative problem-solving across diverse product lines. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee the planning, execution, and management of complex engineering projects while adhering to established timelines and budgets. u2022 Coordinate cross-functional teams, including regulatory, risk management, quality assurance, technical communication, supplier quality, and other departments. u2022 Ensure compliance with medical device regulations and quality management standards throughout the product development process. u2022 Manage the financial aspects of projects, including capital expenditures and team expenses. u2022 Identify challenges and implement creative solutions to address project obstacles and roadblocks. u2022 Apply engineering principles to develop innovative designs and ensure the success of product development initiatives. u2022 Utilize project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile frameworks and Gantt charts, to streamline workflows. u2022 Maintain detailed documentation and labeling to meet regulatory and quality standards. u2022 Foster collaboration among team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals. u2022 Monitor industry trends and adapt processes to align with evolving standards and practices. Requirements u2022 Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. u2022 8-10 years of project management experience, specifically within the medical device sector. u2022 2-5 years of experience managing teams in a matrix organizational structure. u2022 Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles related to medical device design and development. u2022 Familiarity with project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall frameworks. u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical and organizational challenges. u2022 Excellent communication skills to convey ideas effectively to diverse audiences. u2022 Demonstrated leadership capabilities in guiding cross-functional teams toward achieving objectives.
