In this role, youu2019ll contribute to projects that power the core operations of our clients, including cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing and advanced research facilities. This is a hybrid position.As part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, youu2019ll help design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes, working closely with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete, world-class solutions for new facilities. Your responsibilities will include developing P&IDs, sizing valves, specifying instrumentation, panel design, I/O assignments documenting and modeling design information while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.Our group is recognized as one of the leading design teams in the design of semiconductor facilities, delivering innovative solutions that enable the next generation of technology. Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering At least 9 years of work experience designing Instrumentation and Control Systems Working knowledge of PLC, PAC, DDC, DCS systems Ability to work onsite (hybrid) in Albany, NYIdeally, youu2019ll also have: Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Passion for buildings and construction#afelectronics #LI-MP1Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
