Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will oversee full-cycle accounting operations, working closely within a small but dynamic finance department. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is skilled at managing various accounting processes with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities: u2022 Handle full-cycle accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable management. u2022 Prepare and maintain journal entries to ensure accurate financial records. u2022 Perform month-end closing activities to finalize financial statements. u2022 Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure all discrepancies are addressed. u2022 Conduct bank reconciliations to verify account balances and transactions. u2022 Collaborate with the Head of Finance to support strategic financial planning. u2022 Utilize Business One software for accounting operations and reporting. u2022 Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations. u2022 Provide insights and reports on financial performance and metrics. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable and receivable. u2022 Proficiency in month-end close procedures and general ledger management. u2022 Strong understanding of journal entries and account reconciliation. u2022 Demonstrated expertise in bank reconciliations and financial accuracy. u2022 Familiarity with Business One or similar accounting software. u2022 Ability to work effectively within a small team and collaborate with senior finance leadership. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory compliance.
