Based in The Villages, FL, youu2019ll have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks in the city sanitation department. Youu2019ll collect trash and garbage from city residents and commercial establishments onto a collection vehicle using discretion on an assigned shift. Youu2019ll work on an assigned route as a member of a collection crew to pick up garbage and trash; clean areas of collection; clean trucks and equipment; assist with preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) daily; and perform other duties as required. Most importantly, youu2019lltake actionto ensure the safety, health and well-being of your team. Ideally, Youu2019ll Have: Basic knowledge in sanitation procedures and maintenance of equipment Safe work practicesWorking Conditions & Physical Requirements:Safety is a core value at Jacobs.
