We are currently recruiting to fill the following position: Job Description PRIDE Industries Job Description JTN: AA093-J2-Maintenance TradesHlpr Job: Maintenance Trades Helper FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Approval Date: January 2022 SUPERVISES: There are no direct reports with this position. POSITION SUMMARY: Maintenance Trades Helper provides support and assistance to building maintenance staff. The work type is highly variable, will be accomplished under direct supervision from a skilled maintenance technician, and will be limited to support functions only. TYPICAL DUTIES: 1. Assist building maintenance staff in procuring, obtaining, and preparing tools, equipment, and materials for specific planned maintenance tasks 2. Schedule, coordinate, and escort subcontractor staff 3. Assist with documentation, including sorting and filing of photographs, receipts, logs, checklists, and equipment lists 4. Transport materials, documentation, tools and/or equipment between facilities 5. Maintain equipment and material logs to ensure availability of required bench stock 6. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned DenotesEssential Job Function MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: u20220-1 year of work experience preferably in construction or maintenance; u2022Ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and respond to questions and requests from customers and peers; u2022Human relations skills to build and maintain effective working relationships; u2022Basic mathematical skills and ability to read and interpret units of measure; u2022Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities; u2022Ability to track materials resources and time; u2022Demonstrated organizational, problem solving, and common-sense skills. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Not Applicable CERTIFICATES REQUIRED: The following licenses or certificates may berequired depending on local, state and/or contract requirements: Valid Driver's License PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance: u2022Maneuvering to and around equipment u2022Standing and walking u2022Bending, stopping, kneeling and reaching u2022Lifting of boxes or equipment (up to 35 pounds) u2022Climbing ladders or step stools u2022Utilizing basic computer equipment including keyboard, mouse, and monitor WORK ENVIRONMENT: Working is performed at a customeru2019s location in an office/shop environment. Equipment may be located in confined spaces, rooftops, and outside areas. Employees may be exposed to hazardous and/or toxic substances, electrical shock, noise from equipment, and depending on external weather conditions, wind, rain, cold, and heat. Frequent travel to various worksites is required.
