Pay: up to $23/hrPediatric Dental Associates is seeking a passionate Orthodontic Assistant to join our close-knit team in providing top-notch dental care to our patients.As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients feel comfortable and receive the best quality orthodontic care possible. We are looking for a candidate who is energetic, positive, and upbeat, has a willingness to learn, and communicates well with others. Experience is a big plus, but we are also willing to train the right person if you have no experience. We want you to bring your passion, skills, and drive to help patients achieve beautiful smiles while creating “wow” experiences at every visit!Work Schedule:EveryFridayand alternatingMondaysandThursdays(7:45 AM - 5:00 PM)Week 1: Monday & FridayWeek 2: Thursday & FridayRepeats biweeklyLocation:Cherry Hill, NJMaintain a positive and friendly attitude and deliver excellent customer service to patientsCoordinate patient care and treatment according to the doctor and other team membersAssist the orthodontist during procedures, including taking X-rays, preparing materials, and providing chairside supportEnsure a clean and sterile environment by following proper infection control protocols and aseptic techniquesProperly sterilizes instruments on a regular basis Assists doctor with cementation of bands and bracket placementProperly take the correct x-rays when needed on each patientPrevious orthodontics experience is preferred but not requiredWarm, friendly, courteous, and enjoys working with childrenPunctual, responsible, and a fast learnerAbility to multitask is criticalBe receptive to training and coaching on best practicesWhat We OfferWe believe that taking care of our employees and their families is paramount.
