As a construction engineering firm proficient in industrial design and construction, our services are enhanced by extensive mechanical engineering capabilities, as well as HVAC, commercial plumbing, and process piping expertise.Gowan/Garrett, Inc. is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team, servicing commercial clients across a designated territory. This role involves performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.Include the following. Other duties will likely be assigned.Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on standard package and split unit HVAC systemsInspect and service belts, pulleys, condensate lines, compressors, motors, burners, heat exchangers, and safety controlsDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and system failures, including brazing and leak detectionConduct general repairs on steam and hot water boiler systems, and diagnose airflow and ducting issuesHandle refrigerants safely and in compliance with EPA standardsComplete work orders, service reports, and quality inspections using mobile technologyPerform minor electrical maintenance within state law (e.g., replacing fixtures, switches, outlets, bulbs, ballasts)Conduct service and asset inspections as neededMaintain clear communication with clients and internal teams to ensure a positive service experienceParticipate in on-call rotation and complete required safety and compliance training Meet your written annual sales goals.To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily.
