Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience. • Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months. • BSN completion preferred Requirements: • Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Local & travel allowed. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: Skills: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Pre/Post neurosurgery, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Feeding tube care and management, Heparin Protocols, PCA, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Tracheostomy care/management Experience in Neuro Tele units. Strong Neuro experience for first time travelers. Previous Charge experience. Patient Ratio Experience: 1:5-6 Preferred Skills/Experience: Skills: Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring Special Requests: RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review. Floating Requirements: MS Tele & Neuro Units References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Manager may or may not interview.
