Staff Accountant

Description Tyler Houk (Practice Director) with Robert Half is looking for a motivated Staff Accountant to join our team in Fresno, California. As part of our accounting team, you will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting essential operations. Responsibilities: u2022 Handle daily accounting tasks using QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. u2022 Assist in maintaining the general ledger, including reconciliations and preparation of journal entries. u2022 Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly statements, to support organizational decision-making. u2022 Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. u2022 Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities to guide financial planning. u2022 Support year-end audits by providing necessary documentation and assisting with audit processes. u2022 Maintain meticulous financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. u2022 0u20132 years of relevant accounting experience, including internships or entry-level roles. u2022 Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software. u2022 Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively. u2022 Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with standard office applications. u2022 Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative approach to teamwork. u2022 Knowledge of general ledger functions, journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
