Accounting Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to assist our client in San Francisco. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in managing financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting. This position requires someone with strong attention to detail and expertise in accounting processes and systems. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee month-end and quarter-end financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting. u2022 Prepare and review accruals, payroll journal entries, and other operational accounting tasks. u2022 Manage general ledger activities and ensure proper account reconciliations. u2022 Collaborate with auditors during financial statement audits to provide necessary documentation and support. u2022 Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies. u2022 Utilize NetSuite to streamline and optimize accounting processes. u2022 Assist in identifying and addressing operational challenges by asking insightful questions. u2022 Maintain accurate financial records and documentation to support business decisions. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in managing month-end and quarter-end close processes. u2022 Proficiency in general ledger management and journal entries. u2022 Strong understanding of financial statement audits and account reconciliation. u2022 Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software. u2022 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. u2022 Ability to work effectively in any time zone. u2022 Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance. u2022 Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
