Payroll Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team in Vacaville, California. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in payroll processing and compliance. The role will require you to ensure accurate payroll operations while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations. Responsibilities: u2022 Review and track weekly field timesheets to ensure originals are submitted to the corporate payroll department. u2022 Input field timesheet details into payroll audit spreadsheets and identify potential compliance issues. u2022 Communicate weekly with superintendents and managers about meal violations and other compliance concerns. u2022 Ensure proper documentation is collected for all compliance-related matters. u2022 Review weekly office timesheets and address meal violations or other issues with managers. u2022 Assist in developing and maintaining payroll process flow charts to streamline operations. u2022 Support monitoring and approval processes for payroll systems, including follow-ups with employees and managers. u2022 Provide training and troubleshooting assistance for system users to resolve payroll-related issues. u2022 Collaborate with the HR/Payroll team to complete additional tasks and assignments as needed. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative, payroll, or data entry roles. u2022 Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required. u2022 Strong ability to follow up and track tasks with precision. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for payroll-related documentation. u2022 Capable of handling pressure and managing multiple priorities effectively. u2022 Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. u2022 Must be highly organized and detail-oriented. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
