Description We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Victor, New York. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential accounting operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail while working in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage accounts payable processes, including reviewing and processing invoices efficiently. u2022 Oversee accounts receivable tasks, ensuring timely collection and proper recording of payments. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records and perform reconciliations. u2022 Perform data entry with precision to support the companyu2019s accounting functions. u2022 Handle invoice processing and verify details for accuracy and compliance. u2022 Assist with preparing and maintaining financial reports as needed. u2022 Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies. u2022 Support month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure smooth operations. u2022 Maintain organized records and documentation for audits and internal reviews. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. u2022 Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with other accounting software. u2022 Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. u2022 Knowledge of invoice processing and related procedures. u2022 Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. u2022 Effective communication skills for liaising with vendors and team members. u2022 Previous experience in supporting financial reporting and closing activities. u2022 High level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining precise records.
