Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Orlando, Florida. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing invoice processing and ensuring smooth payment operations. This role requires a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency in a high-volume environment, particularly within the healthcare and social assistance industry. Responsibilities: u2022 Process vendor invoices promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies. u2022 Review and code invoices to appropriate accounts for proper record-keeping. u2022 Handle check runs and verify payment details to maintain accurate disbursement records. u2022 Collaborate with subcontractors and other stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies. u2022 Maintain construction accounting records and ensure alignment with project budgets. u2022 Manage purchase orders and reconcile them with invoices to ensure proper payment. u2022 Utilize Oracle and Microsoft Excel to execute and track accounts payable tasks. u2022 Support high-volume invoicing operations while maintaining attention to detail. u2022 Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors and suppliers. u2022 Monitor accounts payable workflows and recommend improvements as needed. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or related roles. u2022 Proficiency in processing invoices and managing high-volume accounts. u2022 Experience with coding invoices and handling check runs. u2022 Familiarity with construction accounting processes and subcontractor coordination. u2022 Strong knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft Excel for financial tasks. u2022 Ability to manage purchase orders and reconcile them with payments. u2022 Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills. u2022 Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
