Job Description A client of Insight Global is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to join their growing team in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The Preconstruction Manager oversees the entire preconstruction phase of projects, ensuring accuracy in cost estimation, coordination of trade partners, and alignment with project goals. This role involves managing a team, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring a seamless transition from preconstruction to construction. Key Responsibilities u2003u2022 Oversee day-to-day operations and trade partner coordination. u2003u2022 Manage all aspects of project communication, deliverables, options, and estimates. u2003u2022 Coordinate with design teams to guide project vision and ensure goals are met. u2003u2022 Lead estimate development and delegate tasks during project kick-off meetings. u2003u2022 Oversee bid processes, trade partner coordination, and project timelines for multiple projects. u2003u2022 Manage all project scopes, including technical and high-risk scopes. u2003u2022 Collaborate with team members for project execution. u2003u2022 Communicate with clients to understand goals, provide updates, and offer value engineering options. u2003u2022 Maintain strong relationships with trade partners for pricing feedback and project information. u2003u2022 Develop high-level cost models and review trade partner proposals. u2003u2022 Implement project vision and ensure objectives are met through planning and resource allocation. u2003u2022 Lead estimate-specific kick-off meetings and incorporate contract requirements into pricing. u2003u2022 Assign operations responsibilities for each estimate deliverable. u2003u2022 Support development of General Conditions estimates and site logistics. u2003u2022 Analyze and estimate conceptual cost options for early design guidance. u2003u2022 Develop scope options to address budget constraints while maintaining program integrity. u2003u2022 Represent the company professionally in meetings and presentations. u2003u2022 Lead risk assessment and mitigation strategies during preconstruction. u2003u2022 Identify constructability concerns and collaborate to resolve issues. u2003u2022 Monitor market trends, material costs, and labor rates to address cost escalations. u2003u2022 Identify long lead items and develop schedule strategies. u2003u2022 Lead development and management of preconstruction and design schedules. u2003u2022 Review quantity takeoffs and detailed breakdowns/unit costs. u2003u2022 Produce professional deliverables (estimates, Basis of Estimate, presentations). u2003u2022 Review project deliverables ahead of submission. u2003u2022 Ensure seamless handoff to operations. u2003u2022 Conduct training courses for preconstruction workshops. Compensation: $135k. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
