summary:Now Hiring for Material HandlersProLogistix is looking for Material Handlers with previous Forklift Experience. This is a temp to hire position with a manufacturing company in NE Columbia.Job duties include but not limited to:Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.Move controls to drive vehicles and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.Move levers and controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts and hoists, to load, unload, transport, and stack material.Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids and boxes and secure materials or products for transport to designated areas.Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Attention to detail, team player and problem-solving skills.Ability to use all power tools required to perform position.Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions related to repairs, ask follow-up questions and communicate clearly any obstacles with meeting deadlines and/or standards.Lifting up to 50 pounds.Standing, bending, stooping, and climbing continuouslyAbility to speak and read/write English fluentlyShifts:2nd Shift: $18.50/hourBenefits of working with ProLogistixFamily day eventsEmployee Engagement ActivitiesMedical/dental/vision benefitsFree online coursesReferral Bonuses required-skills: High School Diploma or GED required.
