Call Center Representative

Description Job Summary: Reporting to the Manager of Business Development, the Call Center Representative is responsible for handling a large volume of inbound and outbound calls related to health insurance in a timely manner, following call center scripts when handling different topics, identify customer needs, clarify information, assist customers in the enrollment process using sales techniques, research and provide solutions. The chosen candidate will maintain records of conversations and results and meet team/personal qualitative and quantitative targets. Essential Duties: u2022 Responsible for answering inbound calls to process PCP Change Requests, send member ID cards, explain to members how to log into portal, and update member demographics. u2022 Access and interpret customer accounts and provider data to provide answers to inquiries u2022 Assist customers in the enrollment process using sales techniques u2022 Document all customer interactions u2022 Maintain communication equipment by reporting problems u2022 Accomplish sales and organization mission by completing related projects as assigned. u2022 Adhere to established quality and production standards u2022 Maintain customer privacy u2022 Protect company proprietary information Skills health plan, managed care, health insurance, call center, inbound call, enrollment sales, insurance sales, tele sales, retail sales Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.
