Our current need is for a project site in Indiana. u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 u2022 Outline of Responsibilities u2022 Provide technical guidance, training and inspection/risk analysis to construction personnel to ensure compliance with the PGL Occupational Safety & Health Policy Manual. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Particular responsibilities may vary from project to project; however, they essentially include: u2022 Provides overall Safety and Health direction for projects. u2022 Responsible for PGL overall Safety Program daily (i.e. administration of the PGL Occupational Safety & Health Policy Manual, Training, Job Safety Analysis, etc.). u2022 Documents accidents/incidents as well as near misses and issues the documentation accordingly. u2022 Perform accident/incident investigations to identify root cause and generate recommendations to reduce or eliminate hazards. u2022 Perform follow-up investigations to verify effectiveness. u2022 Plan, organize, develop and implement various required occupational safety training. u2022 Develop, review and revise written safety related plans. u2022 Ensures all field personnel adhere to all PGL, client and project safety policies, procedures, etc. (verifies all PGL personnel are properly trained). u2022 Maintains official documentation files for all projects. u2022 Prepare regulatory required reports to outside enforcement agencies when applicable. u2022 Provide safety orientation to new personnel arriving at job site. u2022 Conduct project safety orientation at beginning of construction to all contractors and construction personnel. u2022 Provides daily safety reports. u2022 Performs daily job site inspections and uses the Daily Inspection Checklist. u2022 Provide construction photographs, when applicable, to safety issues. Accountability u2022 Representing the firm in a professional manner while maintaining client confidence and respect. u2022 Representing the clientu2019s and PGLu2019s interests and goals. u2022 Reporting to the Construction Manager any matters that jeopardize the success of the project. u2022 Implementing the PGL Occupational Safety & Health Policy Manual. u2022 Communicating and coordinating safety with all involved in the project. u2022 Preparing monthly safety reports for inclusion in the overall project monthly report compiled by the Project Construction Manager. u2022 Incorporating The Perry Groupu2019s ISO Standards in daily activity. Pay Range Minimum: $68,640.00 Pay Range Maximum: $112,320.00 Job Title: The Perry Group - Safety Manager (100% field site in Indiana) Group: PGL Employment Type: Regular Minimum Qualifications: u2022 One (1) or more years of relevant experience with a Bacheloru2019s Degree or, u2022 Three (3) or more years of relevant experience with an Associate Degree or, u2022 Five (5) or more years of experience with a High School diploma or equivalent. The Bacheloru2019s or Associate Degree must be in Engineering, Construction Management or similar technical field. Preferred Qualifications: u2022 This position works ' in the field', at the project construction sites. Background Check and Drug Testing Information: CDM Smith Inc. and its divisions and subsidiaries (hereafter collectively referred to as u201cCDM Smithu201d) reserves the right to require background checks including criminal, employment, education, licensure, etc. as well as credit and motor vehicle when applicable for certain positions.
