On the job training provided.Perform a variety of attending duties at amusement or recreationfacility. Sell and collect tickets/fees, assist patrons; erect, takedown, operate/attend amusement booths and maintain equipment; rides andgames; make change; sell and serve food. Maintain inventories ofequipment, storing/retrieving items and assembling/disassemblingequipment as necessary. Monitor activities to ensure adherence to rulesand safety procedures. Prepare food such as corn dogs, French/curlyfries, twinkies, snickers and cheesecake, specialty gourmet candies,cotton candy, popcorn, funnel cakes, prepare turkey legs and barbequemeats for the smoker. Set up - stock/clean and ready for service, teardown - pack up stock and close down booth, heavy lifting and physicallymobile, operate amusement rides, games and concession booths.Regardingsell and serve food Food and drink orders will be taken, sold, andserved to customers at a concession stand window.Regarding the foodpreparation functions: Prepare simple daily food items andbeverages-typical carnival foods such as corn dogs, French/curly fries,twinkies, snickers and cheesecake, specialty gourmet candies, cottoncandy, popcorn, funnel cakes, prepare turkey legs and barbeque meets forthe smoker, following specific methods that usually require shortpreparation time. Using proper safety precautions and sanitary measuresoperate large-volume cooking equipment, such as grills, deep-fat fryers,griddles, poppers, smokers, or hot plates. Wash, cut, and prepare foodsdesignated for cooking using knives or slicers.Regarding setup-stock/cleantear down pack up stock and close down booth of foodconcessions and attend and maintain equipment functions: Followingsimple specified instructions: Set up-Stock the booth with food itemsand equipment according to a provided check list. Using basic cleaningsupplies such as Dawn, Windex, Mr. Clean, sanitizer tablets andfollowing proper safety precautions and sanitary measures ensure allitems are cleaned and stored in a specified safe manner fortransportation. Setup and take down tools include: ladder, hammers,screw drivers. All required tools are provided. Attend and Maintainequipment by following simple specified directions.Open 7 days a week. Work Hours, schedule and days vary - Sample shifttime: 10am-7pm, 1-hour unpaid break; 35- 40hrs./wk., extra hours may berequired or available, may include weekends and holidays. Work needs(i.e., hours, days, schedule, location, and work positions) vary. Workneeds subject to industry practice and are not guaranteed per day, perweek, per schedule, per location, or per worker, e.g., rainouts, briefperiods without scheduled events, event dates and hours set by agreementwith sponsor and subject to change (based upon adverse weather, hours ofoperation, day of the week, attendance, size of the event, schoolschedules, amount of equipment in operation, staffing, etc.), andunforeseen cancellations. In the event of approved, overlapping events,work needs may cause workers to be adjusted.Pay varies based on each worksite, $15.00 - $21.74 an hour. Noovertime is expected, but if work necessitating OT occurs, it will bepaid in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws.Employer reserves the option to provide additional compensation forperformance/tenure or may increase wages based on changes in marketconditions. Pay received weekly. Single workweek used for computingwages.Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies equipment and uniform required to perform job.Travel required and provided to work in Maricopa and Pima Co.s, AZ; LosAngeles, Orange, San Bernardino and San Diego Co.s, CA and Harris Co.,TX. Travel provided to all events as per itinerary. Must commute fromhome at prior worksite to next worksite. Optional transportation toworksites provided at no cost to the worker. Work is performed outsidein all weather.Employer will make all deductions from workers paycheck required by law.Employers optional shared housing is provided at no cost to the worker.Local convenience travel valued at ($20/wk.), and food available forwage credit and/or deduction, or any lesser amount to the maximum extentnot prohibited by law.H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visaprocessing, border crossing, and other related fees, including thosemandated by the government (excluding passport fees).Allowed costs of inbound transportation provided (including meals and,to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment, if theworker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrangeand pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place ofrecruitment to the place of work.
