Job ID: 709458BR Date posted: Nov. 06, 2025 Description:Sikorsky a Lockheed Martin Company is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Operations Systems Engineer for the Software Configuration Management (SCM) Team Member.We are seeking an entry level candidate interested in the discipline of Software Configuration Management (SCM).The individual would utilize the 3DX application to perform SCM document management. Tasks would includeassistance in activities with assigning documentnumbers, document revisions, document releases,and tracking software versions made to the sourcecode of programs and software releases. Supportsand is an advocate for on-going processimprovements and knowledge transfer across SCMplatforms. Monitors, troubleshoots, and resolvesexternal and internal SCM project support issuesand requests in a timely manner. PerformConfiguration Status Accounting on software thathave change from prior released baselines to thenew proposed release. The selected candidate willwork closely with the document and softwareauthors, aiding as needed to support current andanticipated projects; ensuring that work is inalignment with the contract and Lockheed MartinProcesses and Procedures.Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education- Basic knowledge of file version control- Knowledge of lifecycle management systems- Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and MS Office Tools including, but not limited to Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint- Understanding how to use tools for managing and organizing data -Ability to work onsite in CT occasionally, to meet business requirements-Must be a US. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
