We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / High Precision Machinist with expertise in Wire EDM, EDM hole drilling, 3-axis CNC machining, precision grinding, lapping, CAD/CAM programming, and Visual Measuring Machine (VMM) programming. What Youu2019ll Do u2022 Program, set up, and operate Wire EDM and EDM hole drilling machines to produce tight-tolerance, high-precision components. u2022 Set up and operate precision film manufacturing equipment, ensuring accurate and consistent production processes. u2022 Program, set up, and operate 3-axis CNC machining centers, optimizing toolpaths for accuracy, cycle time, and finish quality. u2022 Develop and refine CNC programs using Esprit CAM software for both CNC and EDM processes. u2022 Assist with design modifications, tooling, and fixture development. u2022 Perform precision grinding (surface, cylindrical, and form) and lapping operations to achieve mirror finishes and ultra-flat surfaces. u2022 Manufacture precision film cutting tools made from tungsten carbide. u2022 Program and operate Visual Measuring Machines (VMMs) and other advanced inspection tools to verify part accuracy and ensure quality standards. u2022 Design and fabricate fixtures and tooling to support production and prototype machining. u2022 Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to troubleshoot, improve processes, and optimize efficiency. u2022 Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace following Lean Manufacturing and 5S best practices. What Youu2019ll Bring u2022 5+ years of hands-on experience in Wire EDM, EDM hole drilling, CNC machining, grinding, and/or lapping. u2022 Advanced proficiency with Esprit CAM software or similar for CNC and EDM programming. u2022 Experience programming and operating Visual Measuring Machines (VMMs) for dimensional inspection. u2022 Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and tight-tolerance machining. u2022 Expertise in selecting tools and machining parameters for a wide range of materials. u2022 Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. u2022 Commitment to craftsmanship, precision, and continuous improvement. Preferred Qualifications: u2022 Background in aerospace, medical device, or high-precision manufacturing industries. u2022 Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems. u2022 Knowledge of SPC, DOE, or Six Sigma process improvement methods.
