Nanny (Live-In)

Nanny (Live-In) (San Antonio, TX) - Full TimeCare for children, 13 and 17 years old, one of whom is special needs child, as well as occasionally 8-year-old, in private household and provide support and expertise to parents in satisfying children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs. Duties include meal planning and preparation, laundry and clothing care, organization of play activities and outings, discipline and intellectual stimulation. Monday to Friday schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 pm. to 6:00 p.m. Some weekend and/or overtime may be required. Nanny will live free of any charge/expense in a guest house adjacent to the main family residence with included bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. Assist with medical appointments and making sure medication taking schedule is adhered to. Will drive children too appointments and activities.Position Requirements:High School or GED plus 24 months of experience in job offered, or as Special Needs Nanny, House Manager or related. Advanced Child Training through the American Red Cross required. Background check through commercially available background check third party company required. Valid US driver's license required. Autism education certificate from any reputable authority required.
