You’ll sit at the intersection of technology and customer experience, owning application uptime, building automation for self-healing systems, and directly communicating with internal stakeholders and airline customers when incidents arise.If you’re passionate about reliability and people, this role is where you make both your code and your communication count.Position Responsibilities:Provides consultation and leadership to identify, evaluate and document complex computing system requirementsApplies expertise related to architecture, design, build and test delivery systems and componentsProvides technical leadership to evaluate product usability, affordability, functionality, security and performance to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environmentsProvides technical support and consultation for the implementation and usage of complex delivery systemsBasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):10 + years of experience with data engineering and data pipelines for On-Prem cloud, hybrid data models and data warehouses5+ years of experience with Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Virtual Machines5+ years of experience with designing and developing software for complex systems such as Distributed Systems, Multi-Threaded and Multi-Process Applications, and Client-server Architectures5+ years of experience with GitLab, Azure DevOps and CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)3+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes3+ years of experience in Incident ManagementPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or higherExperience with supporting complex applications or systemsExperience with problem-solving, including diagnosing and resolving complex network issuesExperience with written and verbal communication to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsExperience with maintaining thorough documentation, and implementing repeatable processesDrug Free Workplace:Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
