At CHS, we are creating connections to empower agriculture.SummaryJoin our team as a Feed Operations Intern and gain hands-on experience in feed manufacturing and facility operations. In this role, you’ll learn to safely and efficiently operate production equipment, support quality assurance processes, and assist with inventory and scheduling tasks. You’ll also have the opportunity to work directly with customers and contribute to maintaining accurate production records, all while building a strong foundation in agricultural operations.Responsibilities Learn to operate the feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.Adhere to CHS quality assurance program regarding ingredient receiving, load-out, and bagging.Assist with performing necessary sequencing, recording, and documenting of all feed manufactured during shift.Train on maintaining accurate production and FDA records, entering data into Excel spreadsheet.Mix and prepare livestock feeds efficiently and in a manner that assures accuracy and high quality.Assist management with production scheduling, inventory planning, and control.Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner.Provide excellent customer service and assist customers when needed.Perform general work around the facility and other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications (required) Currently enrolled in Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture related degree programAdditional Qualifications Agriculture/crop/grain experience or background knowledge very helpful.Previous internship experience helpful, but not required.CHS offers a competitive total rewards package.
